Zonguldak Exhibition Room, which will complete its 25th anniversary this year , is starting a series of events.

The program, prepared in two parts in November and December, aims to recall two long periods of miners' resistance.

As is known, in 1984-85 England and in 1990-91 Türkiye were on the agenda with the big strikes of coal miners.

The first part of the program will start with the film 'Milano Miracle' on November 12th and continue with the documentary 'A Handful of Brave People' on November 14th. On Saturday, November 16th, Alaaddin Kara will be the guest of the 'Zonguldak and Cinemas' talk. Before that, Ahmet Özer's documentary 'Five Penny Canlar' will be shared. The program will end with the short documentaries 'Mükellef' and 'Işık Yenersu' in addition to the films 'My Beautiful Laundrette' and Billy Elliot (Musical) .

The exhibition consisting of photographs of Ahmet Tokyay, Alaaddin Kara and Ibrahim Akyürek witnessing the miners of the Zonguldak coal basin will remain open throughout the events.

The two-month program of the Exhibition Room was dedicated to İrfan Yalçın, the writer of the miners, and Nedim Günsür, the painter remembered as a naive friend of the miners .
